Add 5tbsp caster sugar & 2 tbsp of golden syrup to a saucepan and bring to the boil. Let simmer for about 3-4 minutes until it becomes golden brown.
Take the pan off the heat and add 1 tsp bicarbonate of soda while mixing (Mix ‘N Scraper is best for this!)
When the mixture froths up pour into the baking tin straight away.
When the mixture has cooled turn out onto chopping board and break into pieces.
For chocolate honeycomb melt 50g milk chocolate and dip the honeycomb in and leave to cool on greaseproof paper.
