I made this last night and it was just so quick and easy I had to share!! It is an old recipe from a Sainsburys magazine which I have rediscovered.
16 Pork Chipolatas (though I didn’t have those so halved a pack of normal sausages)
3 stalks celery, trimmed and chopped
4 rashers smoked bacon, chopped (or snipped using Professional Shears!)
2 x 400g tins chopped tomatoes
1 x 410g tin chickpeas, drained
1tbsp chopped rosemary (or 1tsp of dried)
1tsp brown sugar
- Heat Family Skillet and brown the chipolatas, celery and bacon together for 10 mins or so.
- Add the tomatoes, chickpeas, rosemary, sugar and some seasoning.
- Bring to the boil, then cover and turn the heat to low, leave to simmer for 15 mins.
