Today’s recipe isn’t for eating but it is a recipe and as I am cooking it this morning I thought I would share.
My kids (of all ages) love playing with Play Dough. Its pretty pricey in the shops but with this recipe it is really cheap and easy to make. In fact, every time I make it it surprises me just how easy it is!! This makes for a great holiday activity.
2 cups plain flour
1 cup salt
2 cups water
3 tbsp sunflower/veg oil
2 teaspoons cream of tartar
Put all the ingredients in a large pan & heat gently, stirring constantly.
The dough is ready when it no longer sticks to your fingers.
Knead on a lightly floured surface.
I thoroughly recommend the Pampered Chef Executive Non-Stick pan and Mix ‘N Scraper for this. Makes the job a breeze to clean up as well as make!
This is an amazing looking recipe that my Pampered Chef colleague Sally Rachel has just shared with me and she has allowed me to pass on to you. Doesn’t it just look fabulous?! The best thing about it is how easy it is to make. Here are her instructions:
You need some Jus Rol Bread Stuff, Butter, Garlic & Oregano.
Start it off on the hob in your Pampered Chef Saute Pan. Melt the butter & stuff. Open the tube of rolls and cut each one in half. Add to the pan and coat in the herby butter. Then transfer to the oven. Garlic tear n share!!
I’m off out now to buy some Jus Rol Bread Stuff…!!!!!
There is no ‘cooking’ involved in this trifle and it probably is a bit of a cheat for the purists among you BUT if you have a house full of people and you want a really tasty simple pudding then this is just what you need.
Crumble 4 Chocolate Muffins in the bottom of your trifle Bowl.
Next add a jar of Pitted Cherries or a pack of Cherry Pie Filling.
4 more Chocolate Muffins.
Another jar or tin of Cherries.
In a separate bowl whip/ stir some Mascarpone Cheese until soft, then add Ready Made Custard.
Spread on top of the trifle.
Grate Chocolate over and serve.
YUM!! And created in under 5 minutes. Hurrah!
